Local Children's Activities & Clubs

There are some wonderful clubs running in our local area, take a look...

20230714_192335Masham Scouts

1st Masham Scout group provides a range of exciting opportunities for boys and girls aged 6-14.

We meet weekly (Beavers and Cubs on a Tuesday evening and Scouts on a Thursday evening) year-around and participate in a wide range of activities including pioneering; cooking; sports; hiking and music! We take part in Scouting events such as camps, junior warrior and expeditions and get lots of opportunities to try out new skills such as bell boating, paddle boarding, archery and even axe throwing! We also serve our local community and help to raise money for local good causes.

Our young people are awarded badges to recognise their efforts and we are delighted that some of our members have achieved their Beaver Bronze, Cub Silver and Scout Gold awards (the highest awards in each respective section).

1st Masham Scout group is open to everyone and we're always pleased to welcome new members and adult volunteers. If you'd like to become involved please visit the Scout website: https://www.scouts.org.uk/groups/
